"So my question of this agency after my interactions with them were, “Why aren’t you my agent?” My move to d State Farm was prompted by my parents who had an agent for years. Despite their superiors service experience with him, I worked with one of his associates and the experiences was kinda the worst. Like, they never sent my insurance binder to the state and I got pulled over by a cop for not having insurance. I then switched to a different agent. While I have never spoken with her, for the most part, her staff has been very helpful…but despite being in an accident I never heard from them and I had to initiate everything. But the vibe at McKnight was entirely different. I was just there to pick up a total loss settlement check and unlike the claims folks, they called me to update me (this never happened at any stage in the State Farm’s claims process…I had to instigate everything) and knew my name the minute I walked in. So…why aren’t they my agents? I need to answer that question."
